Structural Timbers

Timber used for structural applications must comply with the correct standards and strength requirements laid down by building codes and regulations.

Structural or ‘carcassing’ timber is graded by strength according to British Standard BS EN 14081-1: 2005, i.e.: C16 or the stronger C24 grade. C16 graded timber is kiln dried to reduce moisture and is primarily used for internal building work in floor and roof joists.

We supply various dimensions of treated and untreated sawn structural timbers available in C16 and C24 grades. Used mainly for internal and partition walls, we also supply Canadian Lumber Standard (CLS) timber - a strong durable timber that is ideal for creating frames.

All materials are sourced from legally managed sources in line with the principles of Chain of Custody.
